How our Try Before You Buy programme works

Our Try Before You Buy (TBYB) programme allows you to try different carriers before committing.

Our library comprises carriers that we love and used with our own children, as well as carriers that are easily available in Singapore – either through retail shops or secondhand markets like Carousell.

We don't endorse or recommend every single carrier in our library, but we hope being able to try it out will help you make an informed decision.

We are also here to help! Every rental includes fitting and advice by a babywearing educator via WhatsApp. Please note the phone number you use should match the phone number provided when you check out your rental.

Each rental requires a non-refundable fee (see product information for fee). Some higher-end carriers may require a refundable deposit.

Please see our Terms & Conditions for full list of fees that may be imposed in the event of damage or loss.

We use booqable to manage our rentals.

On Shopify: select a rental period of 1 or 2 weeks, then add to cart. Your rental cart can be accessed at the bottom-right corner of the page. Do note each rental requires a security deposit that will be refunded upon the safe return of the carrier.

On booqable: same as above, except the cart will be on the usual spot on the top-right of the page.will show up as as blue trolley icon on the bottom-right of the page.

We offer up to 2 weeks per carrier. If you need an extension, please reach out to us in advance and we might be able to accommodate (subject to availability) . Carriers not returned on time and without notice will be charged a late fee.

No. We do not provide brand new carriers for each rental (though you might some times enjoy being the first to rent a new release!).

We rent the carriers and accessories without the packaging as the box will just get damaged from shipping.

All our carriers are regularly cleaned and inspected for defects. It is normal for certain fabrics like linen and hemp to feel 'crunchy' after a wash and should soften up again with some use.

Just message us on WhatsApp at 8065 3140 and we'll help you troubleshoot the carrier for free. If requesting fitting help, do send us photos of you using the carrier for better advice – you'll want to include photos from the front, side and back.

We kindly ask that you use the same number as you provided when checking out your carrier or inform us of your order number.

As this is a free service, please note we are unable to schedule appointments and aim to reply as soon as reasonably possible.
